Teeth in a Day
Case 1

This patient presented with a lot of gum abscesses as a result of gum disease. Most of her teeth were mobile and had a number of aesthetic issues. In addition, she had had a number of problems over the years with breaking teeth. It was her wish to have a fixed solution that was cost effective, yet provided excellent functionality and aesthetics. Consequently, we carried out a 'Teeth in a Day' procedure, where all the remaining teeth were gently removed, a minimum of 4 implants placed in both jaws, and a fixed temporary bridge screwed in on the day of surgery. Following a period of gum and bone maturation, the temporary bridge was replaced with a permanent bridge.

Case 2

This patient presented wearing dentures that were uncomfortable to wear. He had had a number of problems over the years with breaking teeth, gum problems such as recurrent abscesses and tooth mobility. It was his wish to have a fixed solution that was cost effective, yet provided excellent functionality and aesthetics. Consequently, we carried out a 'Teeth in a Day' procedure, where all the remaining teeth were gently removed, a minimum of 4 implants placed in one or both jaws, and a fixed temporary bridge screwed in on the day of surgery. Following a period of gum and bone maturation, the temporary bridge was replaced with a permanent bridge.

Case 5

This patient had lost all his teeth when he was much younger and had been tolerating upper and lower dentures. However, the bottom denture was becoming progressively looser and he wanted a better solution on the bottom. After consultation, it was decided to carry out the "Teeth in a Day" procedure on the bottom, with 2 implants being placed on the top to support an implant denture. A brilliant result.

QouteOver thirty years ago, I unfortunately had to have all my teeth removed. This was a very traumatic experience as you could imagine and I had to wear dentures following the extractions. Wearing dentures destroyed my self-confidence and when I have looked back at old photographs, I always smiled with my mouth closed. It was also an ordeal at times to eat out.

I saw your advertisement in the paper and became interested. I saw Rory and after the initial consultation, I decided to have the teeth in a day option, and a denture supported by implants.

Since having this treatment carried out, I have regained my self-confidence and it has truly been worthwhile.

I would really recommend anyone considering denture replacement to have this procedure done and the treatment I have had done has been a 'job well done'.Qoute

Case 6
Missing Teeth

This patient was unhappy with the condition of her lower teeth and was unwilling to wear a lower denture. It was discussed that the lower teeth. roots would be removed, implants placed immediately and a fixed bridge placed immediately. The treatment time was 3 hours to achieve this. After a period of healing, a new bridge was placed on the lower jaw, with a new denture provided on the top.

Case 7

This patient was unable to effectively eat her food due to the lack of back teeth in the lower jaw. She was unwilling to wear a denture and wanted to get a fixed solution to replace her teeth. It was decided that the teeth would be removed, implants placed immediately with a fixed bridge to be placed on top. This has provided an extremely functional and aesthetic result for this patient, who is extremely satisfied with the result.
